Job Overview

CPFT offers you the opportunity to join the CAMHS Crisis Team, dedicated to supporting children and young individuals in need. The team provides short-term, recovery-focused interventions to families facing crisis situations. We are seeking passionate, dynamic practitioners ready to take on a new challenge and enhance children's well-being. The team comprises experienced clinical leaders and dedicated support staff, ensuring the delivery of planned care and appropriate support.

Ideally, candidates should have experience in addressing complex family issues and embody our Trust values: Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, and Empowerment while working collaboratively.

Main Duties of the Job:

The service collaborates with various sectors such as social care and education to address acute mental health needs in children and young individuals, developing joint risk management plans.

CAMHS Crisis Care Practitioners perform clinical risk assessments, mental health evaluations, and short-term planning for individuals in crisis. They provide intensive mental health intervention to children and adolescents with complex needs.

You will engage with Mental Health Services, Acute Hospitals, Ambulance Service, Police, Education, and Social Care to assess and plan for children and young people in crisis situations.
