We are offering an opportunity for someone to join our team as Trainee Hose Fitter at our Great Yarmouth workshop.


A bit about us
Metnor Great Yarmouth and Aberdeen is one of the longest established service companies to the power industries, supplying all the leading testing companies and exporting to more than 40 countries all over the world since 1985

We supply hydraulic fittings, tubing and pressure gauges.

Our pressure testing rental department design and manufacture quality, reliable, certified pressure testing equipment and we also offer repairs and re-calibration for pressure test equipment and services.


The role


This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for someone to learn a new trade whilst gaining valuable experience in an established and successful organisation.

On-the-job training is provided in our fully equipped workshop, therefore no previous experience in this field is required, we will teach you everything you need to know


You will learn how to measure, assemble, and dispatch hose assemblies and fit them to order under supervision of our skilled in-house Hose Fitters.


The role will require responding to trade and customer service queries, therefore a good level of customer service experience is a requirement.

Hours: 40 hours per week 8am - 5pm with an hour lunch break.

If you are self-motivated, keen to learn and are able to work to tight deadlines, this may be the job for you.

There will be a requirement to read and write and you will also need to have excellent communication skills.
