Step Teachers are looking for MFL Teacher in Norwich to start in September for a long-term role that could turn permanent for the right MFL Teacher.

Key Responsibilities of MFL Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive departmental team.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements of a MFL Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as MFL Teacher teaching French and Spanish.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love for languages in students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
