A fantastic opportunity has become available as a Senior Analyst in our thriving Mortgage Product Insight Team.

Working in the heart of the product team, you will take responsibility for analysis and the translation of this into actionable insight. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to inform decisions, driving improved customer and commercial outcomes in an ever-changing mortgages market.

What you'll be doing

  • You will use SAS to gather complex information and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • You will use your judgement to support well considered recommendations and present these to senior management.
  • You will use your expertise to seek out and discover patterns and relationships in data which will directly support the broader Mortgages Team.
  • You will directly support other members of the team with their SAS coding and analysis.

About you

As a minimum requirement you'll:

  • Be able to demonstrate strong SAS expertise with the ability to understand complex data.
  • Have an analytical mind set with strong excel skills.
  • Have experience of working with large datasets, as well as extracting data from various data sources for analytical and insight purposes.
  • Have experience in developing and delivering insight in line with organisational strategy.
  • Be comfortable using your insight to make well considered recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Have proven ability to work to a high standard and with an eye for detail.
  • Have experience of building relationships and communicating with confidence whilst also working well on your own initiative.

Desirable skills include

  • Experience working in Financial Services specifically with Mortgage Products.
  • Have a strong quantitative degree from a Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science related subject.
