Global Rates Real Time Risk Business Analysis and Project lead:
Global Rates desks have a large set of complex and varying requirements for the real time risk system (SRTR).

In order to satisfy these requirements globally detailed business analysis, prototyping, verification of the calculations, ensuring consistency and re-user as well as frequent communication with traders and quants are required on detailed level.

What is also required is an ability to organize the development team around these requirements and drive the development of respective functionality with speed and quality.

This role will oversee all BA and projects efforts across the regional teams in order to enable the global roll out of SRTR functionality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Rates trading desks to define the required Book of Work for each desk
  • Work closely with the development team on detailed basis to implement required changes to Risk system in time and with quality
  • Ensure the book of work and progress is understood and visible by senior business stakeholder.
  • Lead the execution of specific projects from beginning to successful completion
  • Partner with global Pricing and Risk teams in delivering global solutions

Key Relationships:

  • Real Time Pricing and Risk Team in Warsaw, London, New York
  • Other development teams also located in the same regions and India
  • Quantitative Analytics team
  • Application support organization

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proven experience within Fixed Income, preferably Rates, pricing or risk management technology
  • Strong knowledge of linear interest rates products, curve construction and linear risk generation
  • Ability to be proactive, exert influence, adjust priorities quickly
  • Experience working in a large collaborative environment as well as coming up with ideas that challenge current practices
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong ability to influence other teams and to formulate detailed requirements and plans to deliver rates risk system functionality

Technology Skills:

  • Experience with KDB+
  • Experience with prototyping using internal Rates analytics within Excel
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with Apache Flink and Kafka a plus
  • Ambition to learn aspects of systems supporting real time interest rate risk calculations
