Position Purpose:

A Yard Hostler-NonCDL is a vital role within our Operations Team, responsible for assisting in equipment movement within terminals/warehouses to facilitate material organization for shipping, storage, or destruction. This includes trailer sanitation, equipment handling, daily inspections, and maintaining inventory knowledge.

A Yard Hostler ensures vehicles within Stericycle yards are prepared for loading, unloading, and transportation. Operating solely on company premises, they carry out standard Plant Associate duties as necessary.

Key Job Activities:

• Maintains communication with dispatch for delivery/pick-up instructions and reports equipment issues
  
• Operates company equipment safely and efficiently
  
• Performs assigned Plant Associate tasks
  
  

Education:

Experience:

• Effective communication and adherence to health and safety regulations
  
• 0-1 years of experience
  
• Valid Driver's License and minimum age of 21
  
• Ability to read and speak English for compliance with regulations
