Technical Office I&C Engineer

Astute's Power team is partnering with a Principal Contractor on an Energy from Waste project to recruit a Technical I&C Engineer on a 6-month minimum contract for its West Midlands site.
The Technical I&C Engineer role comes with a day rate of £500 per day.
Key skills
- You will be responsible, in coordination with TOEM, to support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as far as engineering and technical documentation is concerned.
- Guarantee drawings reflect the work to be carried out by the subcontractor in due time;.
- Responsible for technical coordination with External Engineer regarding construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate internally with the rest of the project disciplines all issued Technical Queries (TQ ́s) and keep the TQ ́s tracker well updated.
- Identify and issue the applicable Design Changes required to carry out the works according to the Project specification in coordination with the external Engineering (GHV) and TOEM.
- Keep design files updated according to the DCMP.
- Assist Construction team to ensure that the works are in compliance with all Issued for Construction documentation;
- Follow-up and coordinate all engineering queries which might arise during the project execution;
- Assist Pre-commissioning and Commissioning teams with handover documentation;
- Coordinate alternative proposals to the IFC drawings when required by the project;
