- You will be responsible for setting and monitoring sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and coaching and motivating the sales staff.
- You will also be expected to maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- To be successful in this role, you should have 3 years' experience of achieving sales goals and managing a sales team.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct the sales activities of the Sales department ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
- Establish and communicate sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the sales team and monitor and evaluate their performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to increase market share and profitability.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to the sales staff, and conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate leads and referrals.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, and analyse sales data and trends.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Monthly reporting to SLT on sales performance and commissions.
- 4 month Termly Reviews of each salesperson.
Requirements
- A-levels or equivalent in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs, and to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Basic knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer service and relationship management skills.
- Organized, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
