Are you the right person for the job?

Experience:A minimum of 2 years working in a Nursery setting with supervisory experience. If you've already been a senior practitioner or room leader, that's a huge plus

Qualification: SVQ LEVEL 3 HNC IN CHILDCARE/EARLY YEARS, PDA LEVEL 9 EARLY YEARS:
Educational Insight:Excellent knowledge of CFE, RTA, and the latest Care Inspectorate guidelines
Passion for Learning:Proven experience in creating engaging and high-quality learning opportunities

What will your role look like?
- Leading the daily operation of the Nursery playroom
- Fostering positive relationships with colleagues to enhance our curriculum and maximise children's potential
- Ensuring the nursery/playroom remains a secure sanctuary for children, staff, and visitors
- Developing strong connections with parents and carers to actively engage them in their child's development journey
- Managing and inspiring dedicated staff within the nursery/playrooms
- Tackling diverse tasks delegated by the Director/Manager with enthusiasm and precision
- Supervising Early Years Practitioners, Assistants, and students
- Crafting an engaging and relevant curriculum
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of every child
- Empowering parents to be active coeducators in their child's development
- Providing topnotch education within the Early Years framework
- Monitoring and evaluating the curriculum's effectiveness
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Caring for children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing
- Sharing observations and assessments with parents
- Promoting positive values and behaviour
- Overseeing key worker responsibilities
- Assisting with induction and settling in for new children
- Establishing a daily routine
- Managing children's work presentations
