Regional Director, Design Build Lead (Water)

About the Job: Are you ready to take on the role of Design Build Lead within Water Engineering at AECOM in Ireland? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering projects that make a real impact on communities. As a key member of the Water Ireland Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and achieving our delivery objectives, specifically focusing on design-build projects and expanding our portfolio.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Development of the design-build portfolio
  • Relationship management with contract partners
  • Development of the design-build delivery team
  • Strategy alignment, positioning, bid leadership, and governance
  • Mining existing framework appointments, securing reappointment, and winning new appointments
  • Securing strategic pursuits
  • Support for Northern Ireland Water and Uisce Éireann CAM
  • Acting as delivery lead for design-build and major projects
  • Contributing to financial plan and growth metrics
  • People management, support, and guidance
  • Championing collaborative working across teams


Join the Team: AECOM's Water division in the UK and Ireland is a dynamic group of professionals working across multiple locations. With a strong focus on growth and development, you will have the opportunity to lead projects such as Sydenham Pumping Station, Kinnegar WwTW, and Stillorgan Reservoir while driving organic growth within the Design Build team.



Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in engineering or construction
  • Chartered status (or approaching chartered status)
  • Experience leading design delivery in a design-build environment
  • Contract management and digital delivery experience
  • Track record in client relationship development and work winning
  • Commercial and risk management skills
