Hours? 37
Individual needs come first, and so we need a lot of flexibility when it comes to your working hours.

These will be scheduled on a rota basis with the rest of your team and can include sleep-ins; waking nights; weekends; and Bank Holidays.

What are the general duties of a Personal Assistant level 2?
We support Adults with learning disabilities, Autism, Dementia, Mental Health, acquired brain injury. They are vulnerable, that's why they need support.

That doesn't mean that they cannot decide for themselves what kind of support they want, how they want it and what services they want to access.

So helping them to achieve these things is an important part of this job.

So too is encouraging them to be active and develop connections with other people outside their circles of support; helping them to seize opportunities like getting a job or taking part in leisure or learning activities.

You'll help them to look after the places where they live and to reach their full potential, becoming as independent as they can be.

We'll teach you all about positive risk taking and how to encourage it so that service users can live as normal a life as possible.

Just like you, they and their families have a right to dignity, diversity and to be an individual. You are there to make sure that these things are respected and maintained.

_ The essential purpose of this job_

_ Must be a driver and hold a current driving licence and have held it for over a year_

Rewards
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The starting salary for a House Manager is £22,013.21 per annum (pro rata for part time).

We will pay up to an additional 4% of your salary into a pension plan for you, which will grow every year until you retire.

You will have a chance to progress. We give you training and help you gain appropriate qualifications.

You will be required to provide on call out of hours for the company. You'll be paid extra for this.

That's not all. You'll get twenty days paid holiday plus eight statutory bank holidays.
