A vacancy has arisen for a Student Travel and Support Adviser to join the Student Travel and Support team. This post is predominantly based at our busy Havant campus which will require some lone working. There will be opportunities to work with the team at the South Downs campus when required.

The main purpose of the role is to administer the financial assistance and travel schemes offered by the College.

You will lead on the College's Train travel scheme and support with other schemes such as Free Student Meals, Childcare and Vulnerable Bursary.

This is a front-facing role, and you will be required to deal with student's queries daily.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to join our busy department.

The successful applicant will have at least two years' experience working in a busy administration role with the ability to confidently work on their own, liaise with a variety of different stakeholders and have the ability to travel independently between the Havant & South Downs campuses.

Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is beneficial to this role, although training will be provided.


An understanding of the ESFA and Free Student Meals funding guidelines is desirable as the postholder will be responsible for ensuring all provision meets these guidelines.
