Key Responsibilities:
- Develop existing product designs to address manufacturing and assembly issues
- Manage product maturity and development in Smarteam
- Lead design efforts for work packages or small programs
- Mentor and oversee a team of design engineers
- Maintain engineering quality and integrity within the team
- Ensure design elements integrate successfully within the product
- Participate in design reviews and follow-up actions
- Contribute to the development of best practice guidelines
- Check and approve engineering changes and permits
- Generate or revise specifications
Our in-house design studio collaborates with airline partners to create innovative sky experiences. With dedicated engineering and support facilities, we deliver high-quality products that remain operational over the program's lifecycle. Supported by various functions from HR to Finance, our team provides end-to-end capabilities for Safran Seats in the UK.

Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering
Experience in mechanical design across various industries
Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
