The role of Hotel Operations Duty Manager is quite exciting, allowing you to be part of the team managing our NEW overnight accommodations: The LEGOLAND Woodland Village.

You'll be a proactive and highly visible manager, leading your team to ensure the utmost guest satisfaction.

The role entails taking charge of the day-to-day operations of our overnight accommodations, ensuring exceptional service for our guests and colleagues, along with maintaining the impeccable presentation of all guest and staff areas.

Working under the guidance of the Senior Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in recruiting, training, and coaching the Hotel guest experience hosting team to uphold excellence in all aspects.

Your responsibilities will include promptly addressing guest feedback and handling any escalated issues with professionalism and courtesy, always embodying the Merlin company values.

In addition to overseeing the new overnight accommodations, you will also be involved in our existing hotels, fostering connections with colleagues and guests.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential background in hotel or hospitality, preferably in a Front of House / Reception Duty capacity
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding guest interactions in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Prior team management experience, with a focus on achieving set KPI targets
  • Familiarity with risk assessments and broader Health and Safety protocols
  • Ability to handle guest feedback with empathy, resilience, and practicality
  • Positive attitude and a passion for ensuring an enjoyable experience
