BRIEF

Looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a fast paced new build project? Look no further Leggwork is currently seeking a Gantry Crane Operator to work on a new 20m project in Blandford Forum - Dorset.

This position is expected to be ongoing till October 2025 for the right person.

The whole build will be encased in a steel frame to protect from the elements, hence the need for a gantry operator rather than a tower.

A OHC certificate is required.
Already work in a full crane team? Perfect We are also looking for a Banksman along with a crane supervisor

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?

  • Operate the gantry crane
  • Working with the highest safety standards
  • Ability to liaise with site manager and follow clear lift plans with accordance with the sites Method statements and RAMS
  • Reliable, hard working and good attitude

WHAT WILL I NEED?

  • PPE
  • 2 Recent Work references
  • Prior experience as a gantry crane operator
  • OHC certificate
  • Relevant operators ticket
