Veterinary Receptionist

Job role

• Up to 38 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be expected to

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Answer the telephones promptly to deal with queries or redirect appropriately
• Register clients, make appointments, process clients on arrival and updating records and clinical data whilst maintaining confidentiality
• Maintain cleanliness of reception & waiting room areas as well as the consultation rooms.
• Stock management, including placing and unpacking orders, stock rotation and correct storage and recording.
• Be able to keep calm under pressure
• Confident to interact with domestic pets and help with basic animal handling
