Learning and Development Administrator

Our client, a leading technical innovation company based in Cambridge, is looking for a Learning and Development Administrator to join their team.

The Learning and Development Administrator will need excellent administration skills to support the department,business and its employees through a wide range of training activities, delivered both internally and externally.

This is a very busy role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting all areas of the learning & development department which requires anorganised and self-motivated individual who likes to prioritise their own workload, and works well with a high volume of detailed tasks.

This role is a hybrid working position.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Completing full administration process of training courses to ensure effective delivery of inductions and internal courses, which will include ensuring delegate lists are up to date, printing of training materials required, training rooms are booked, andany other requirements are managed accordingly. This will require ownership of the complete booking process from initial request through to post course activities with multiple courses being scheduled at any one time.
  • Ensuring pre and post course tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Using the Training Management System to support all training activities
  • Communicating with trainers, supporting staff, delegates and line managers
  • Supporting the training department with administrative tasks when required
  • Data entry and data updates are also required regularly on the Training Management System.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer services skills along with experience of supporting others
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with all staff and work within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritise own workload, with a flexible approach, and use their initiative in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience of working with different systems within one role and accurate use of those systems.
