About You

  • Coaching qualification or working towards it
  • A high level of enthusiasm
  • Good knowledge and understanding of different sports
  • Experience working with all age groups across the primary sector is desirable
  • Good behaviour management
  • Willing to adapt and be flexible when needed
  • Willing to travel across central London
You will have a wealth of experience engaging with children in a setting. You will also;

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Sports Coach to join our fun Children and Young People team. The role is offered on a casual baisis and the hourly rate is £ To deliver fun, innovative and engaging sporting activities

  • Plan appropriate sessions across all age groups
  • Ensure health and safety standards are always met
  • Building positive relationships with parents and teachers
  • Making sure that child progression is the focal point when delivering every session
  • Helping out with one off sporting activities and events across the YMCA
  • Collaborating with other team members across the YMCA where needed

Safeguarding responsibilities

  • This role will involve daily contact with children, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
  • All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
  • The Charity's Safeguarding Policy is available from Central YMCA website.
