Supply Planner (Capacity and Features

Position Description:

Supply Planner:
Capacity and Features

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in demand and supply planning activities across multiple operational units, S&OP and Exec S&OP process execution
  • Teamwork: able to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally working collaboratively with stakeholders who may have different priorities/objectives.
  • Strength in Excel/ Power point
  • Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyse, interpret and manage information, data and trends
  • Strong analytical skills: able to evaluate, model and prioritise constraints and develop options to resolve them
  • An ability to communicate complex concepts to others
  • An ability to assess gaps between demand and supply
  • Ability to develop scenarios / options to close gaps

Skills Preferred:

  • Production Purchasing
  • Project management
  • Understanding of supplier production purchasing processes, lead times, capacity planning
  • Capable of resolving issues by working across functions
  • Good communicator/negotiator at all levels
  • Commercial awareness

Experience Required:

  • Knowledge and experience in using manual and automated MRP systems (SAP and, or others);

Education Required:

  • Degree in Maths, Statistics, Engineering or Supply Chain qualification
