Production Test Engineer

Responsibilities: Join us as a Production Test Engineer and become a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our intricate weapons systems at system and subsystem levels. Your tasks will involve:

  • Performing tests on complex electronic and electrical equipment, meticulously diagnosing production test failures to the component level.
  • Quickly identifying corrective actions to maintain production flow in line with program schedules.
  • Handling Test Equipment issues and coordinating support services for prompt resolution of equipment failures.
  • Addressing technical challenges by suggesting investigations and implementing corrective actions, including process improvements.
  • Representing Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to expedite equipment progress and quality notifications for corrective steps.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC/HND (Electronics) Qualifications or equivalent, with significant experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacturing and testing.
  • Proficient in measurement and test principles, with knowledge of associated equipment.
  • Familiarity with RF and microwave technology at the subsystem level.
  • Understanding of Environmental testing, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
  • Detail-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Trained in manual handling and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions.
