We are seeking a live-in Estate and Grounds Maintenance Manager to oversee and maintain our estates, grounds, and various facilities.
This role includes managing buildings, landscapes, vehicles, offices, and custodial maintenance activities. Maintain high-quality appearance of grounds and venues year-round.Oversee and coordinate all maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion.
Build, develop, and lead a proactive maintenance team.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and requests promptly.
Provide training and instruction to staff and contractors.
Relevant experience in grounds, gardening, or estate maintenance is preferred.
Experience with agricultural equipment (tractors, mowers, hedge cutters) and equipment maintenance.
Understanding of Health & Safety practices and Risk Assessments.
Full clean driving licence.
Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance skills.
PAT testing certification
Chainsaw training
Horticultural and gardening experience (PA1, PA2, PA6 certifications desirable)
Live-in position with accommodation provided.
Work schedule based on weather and event needs, averaging 40 hours per week over 7 days, with seasonal peaks.
