We are looking for a Fabrication Operative to join a reputable company in Poole, offering you a fantastic chance to be part of a growing team in a supportive environment.


The ideal candidate would have a background in Engineering or Fabrication from College but has not yet had the chance to put these skills to use. If you have experience in a factory or production setting and have completed relevant courses, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to kickstart your career.


The successful Fabrication Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth flow of steel for the fabrication department and assisting in various production tasks within the factory.


This role provides an immediate start to support the welding and fabrication team due to increasing orders. The salary ranges from £12 to £12.77 per hour and operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.

The main responsibilities of the Fabrication Operative:

  • Picking and issuing material kits
  • Inspecting, touch-up, and stickering finished project goods
  • Hand painting/spraying necessary items
  • Shotblasting

Requirements for the Fabrication Operative:

  • Experience in Counterbalance Forklift driving or possessing a relevant license is highly desirable
