The Company:

I'm currently looking for a confident SQL Database Developer to join one of the UK's leading tech solution companies. They have over 50 years of experience using the most advanced technologies to provide seamless hardware and software solutions for their clients. One of their core values is to deliver excellent customer-facing service so, they're looking for someone with great interpersonal and communication skills.

The company are based just outside central Manchester. They provide free on-site parking and are close to major transport links.

The Role:

You will be working in small, like-minded team of development professionals to maintain and enhance the company solution which is C# and SQL database focused.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing projects from conception to conclusion, therefore we're looking for someone with knowledge of the full development cycle; from specification, design, coding, configuration management, testing, documentation and installation. If you have confident technical knowledge to support and enhance solutions then this is definitely the role for you

The role is being offered as 2 to 3 days per week in their office, after completing your 4 week induction period.

Responsibilities:

The company are looking for a confident database developer with great interpersonal and communication skills as this is a customer-facing role. A can-do and positive attitude are a must

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Database design and implementation
  • Integration with 3rd parties
  • The development of API's
  • Knowledge of the full development lifecycle from specification to installation
  • Integration with remote services

Requirements:

  • SQL Server
  • C#
  • Azure
  • API
  • MDM is a bonus
  • Experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial
  • Driving License as occasional travel is required
