Spa Host / Housekeeper (
York Cottage is a house and spa based in rural Northamptonshire.

Set in mature grounds we host groups and couples during the week, with spa access in morning and afternoon sessions.

A spa break includes overnight accommodation on site, a 20 minute treatment and afternoon tea. During the weekend, our house is available as a group booking for up to 16 guests.

We're looking for a dedicated spa host / housekeeper to provide a professional and welcoming environment to our guests. We're a family run business with a small, growing client base. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team at this early stage.

Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Welcomes clients to the spa, including providing guidance on the facilities available
• Serving Afternoon Teas and Grazing Boards to guests, including laying out food on trays (provided by external caterers).
• Brewing, stocking and maintaining the tea, coffee and fruit water available to guests throughout the day.
• Making beds to a professional standard in a timely manner.
• Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms & communal facilities throughout the day.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies
• Assists other team members when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Work Hours

Guaranteed Hours:
Monday 09:00 - 18:00 Friday 09:00 - 16:00 Sunday 11:00 - 16:00

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Experienced cleaner
• Food handling experience in a professional environment preferred
