About the Job:

This role involves supplying the production line with products according to the required specifications and quantities.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety policies strictly and report any deviations
  • Prepare and mix the designated number of mixes based on the production plan
  • Mix dough according to the product specification sheet, ensuring accurate quantities of ingredients such as flour, yeast, and water
  • Operate mixing equipment to guarantee correct ingredient quantities and temperatures, following specified mixing times
  • Ensure ingredients like ghee and sachets are added as per the product requirements
  • Check dough quality after mixing
  • Maintain proper filling of dusters along the line
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Clean mixing bowl thoroughly between different product mixes to prevent contamination
  • Accurately record batch information including specifications, test results, weights, and mixing times
  • Ensure continuous mixing operation to maintain a steady supply to the production line
  • Report any product or mix non-conformities to the line technician
  • Practice 'Clean as you go' method

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills are essential
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Numeracy and literacy skills

Additional Details:

Location: Seaham

Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour

Working Hours:

  • 4 on 4 off shift from 6am to 6pm
