Package Summary:

  • Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Children - Need Level 3 Qualification

  • Salary: Circa £25k to £27k - Plus - £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000-£6,000pa)

About the Role: As a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker, you will:

  • Work with the team to promote and support the positive development of young people in our care.
  • Ensure day-to-day management is conducted professionally and competently, supporting the Service Manager in delivering the best quality care.
  • Lead a team, alongside other professionals, to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each individual child.
  • Record events and observations, prepare and implement care plans and records.
  • Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, fostering trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting change.

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience or knowledge of child-centered, therapeutic models.
  • Excellent communication skills, natural caring demeanor, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Ability to work flexibly, covering long day shifts, weekends, and sleeps.
