Main duties of the job Supporting outpatient clinics, and day case treatments as well as delivering an outreach service to support the inpatient service. Education and teaching. The sickle cell and thalassaemia centre is based at City Hospital, alongside the haematology inpatient ward. There would be an opportunity to rotate to the ward if desired. Our new acute hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), opens in 2024 and will provide care to our local population from first class, purpose-built premises.As a result, the base of this role may change to MMUH from 2024 (or beyond).
