Responsibilities of the successful Health and Safety Consultant:

  • Deliver CDM Services with the chance to provide additional Health & Safety Services
  • Oversee technical and contractual aspects of professional practice
  • Offer Health & Safety Services on independent commissions and complement wider project delivery services
  • Produce pre-construction information, files, and other CDM documents
  • Ensure Designer compliance and review contractors' documentation
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams on project basis
  • Advise clients on procurement options and consultant appointment matters
  • Engage in business development of Services within the Region and stay updated on legal developments in construction and associated law

Requirements of the successful Health and Safety Consultant:

  • Relevant experience in design or construction
  • Professional Qualification in Design or Construction
  • NEBOSH qualified (minimum Construction Certificate)
  • Preferable Member of APS / IOSH
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Thorough understanding of CDM2015 and Health & Safety issues
  • Familiarity with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
  • Capability in H+S Training is advantageous
