Ourclient is an industry leading gear manufacturing company. Theircustomers are in the Aerospace Defence & OEMmarkets.They are looking to employ on a fulltimepermanentbasis an experienced CNC Grinder. This role will be based out oftheir workshop located inHampshire.

CNCGrinderOffer

18hr to 21hr depending onexperience

Hoursare MonThurs 07:00 to 15:45 and Fri 06:00 to 13:00 a 40.0hourweek

CNCGrinderResponsibilities

Preparingthe machine for grinding operations(setting)

Grindingdeburring and polishing workpieces to bring them to the desiredshape and dimensions in accordance with the designspecifications

Mountingand dismounting workpieces for the grindingmachine

Ableto use measuring equipment to check finished pieces (qualitycontrol)

Reportingany machining or fabrication defects orimperfections

Carryingout maintenance of grinding machine and cuttingtools

Workin accordance with the quality system and processes of thecompany

Adhereto the company s health and safety requirements and completetraining asrequired

CNCGrinderRequirements

Qualificationin engineering or similar field.

35 years relevant experience in a similar industry/role.

Theability to read technical/mechanical drawings.

Knowledgeand experience of systematic problem solving.

Beable to work effectively and efficiently to meet targetdeadlines.
