The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Salford.
We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's Biochemistry service.Position:
Biomedical Scientist
Banding: 6
Location:
Salford
Hours: 37.5
Duration: 4 Months
Working Pattern:
Mon-Fri Core days
Shift Pattern:9-5pm
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be an expert in biochemistry automation undertaken with analysers.
You will be comfortable, loading, operating and maintaining these analyser and being able to validate results. Experience with troubleshooting the equipment would be ideal.The benefits of this position are:

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:
- HCPC registered
- Microtomy experience
- UK NHS or private sector experience
- UK experience in Biochemistry point of care testing
- 2 years post registration experience
