Position Overview:
We are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Altrincham, focusing on fit-out projects. This role provides a great opportunity for professional growth within our company. The work will primarily be office-based, with occasional site visits across the North West and Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage own diary and conduct site visits for reviews.
- Handle estimating duties and negotiate tenders.
- Prepare client valuations and monitor site preliminaries.
- Administer subcontractor contracts and accounts.
- Assist with monthly cost reconciliations and forecasts.
- Identify and communicate commercial threats to projects.
- Attend meetings and provide timely surveying information.
Requirements:
- Surveying Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Main Contractors.
- Experience with design and build projects, particularly JCT contracts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
