Due to continued growth, Randox Laboratories require a highly motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to join the Serum team. The successful Team Leader will be involved in a number of day-to-day operations of the Serum Department.

The Role:

  • Ensure the team fulfils daily and overarching goals of the department.
  • Providing guidance and support to analysts including assigning tasks, reviewing work, evaluating performance, creating schedules, problem solving, setting deadlines, and maintaining work procedures.
  • Interpret results and organise repeat testing where appropriate.
  • Maintain quality records and files.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company policies.
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained.
  • Release of product, as directed by the manager.
  • Assist technical support in troubleshooting customer queries.
  • Assist in maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Perform reviews of regulated documents.
  • Assist in compiling KPIs.
  • Essential: _
  • Be qualified to at least an Honours degree standard in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a Life Science.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise work in a logical fashion.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Desirable: _
  • Working knowledge of quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety, including CoSHH.
  • Relevant experience within the diagnostics sector.
