Are you a driven and enthusiastic individual looking to kickstart your career in the tax department? We're looking for a Tax Trainee to join our client, a fantastic independent accountancy firm based in Hitchin.

The role:


As a Tax Trainee, you'll work alongside their experienced Tax Manager to learn the ropes and progress in your role.

You'll be responsible for assisting with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns and form P11D, as well as dealing with client queriesand contacting HMRC on their behalf.


But that's not all, you'll also be provided with the opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment with training to help you develop your skills and progress within the role.

With their help, you'll be able to gain a good basic understanding ofincome tax, PAYE, and Capital Gains Tax - and if you need additional support, in-house training is available.


  • At least 1 year of experience working in a practice environment
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about your work
