Your Profile:
Your technical or vocational training in an automotive retailer or similar environment should be supported by experience in working with vehicles. We are looking for a team player who can mentor and collaborate with new colleagues and apprentices. A full driving licence is a must.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out specified activities as per the relevant schedule
  • Ensuring completion of all scheduled activities, documenting the time taken and parts used
  • Reporting any faults or problems discovered outside the scheduled tasks and seeking approval for necessary rectification work
  • Diagnosing, reporting, and rectifying vehicle faults and issues
  • Utilizing department diagnostic equipment and methodologies
  • Seeking guidance from Service Management and Franchise technical support when necessary
  • Reporting causes of problems and estimating repair costs

Skills/Experience We Value:
  • Experience working on products from various manufacturers
  • Experience in a main dealer with a diverse workforce
  • Electrics and diagnostic skills

Salary:
Prep Technician, OTE up to £31,500 per year with optional overtime.
