_ A fantastic opportunity to join an established, national engineering contractor as an Administrator supporting a busy and fast paced engineering maintenance team. This position can offer longevity through its long term maintenance framework supporting one of our key clients._

The Role


We require an enthusiastic Administrator based in our Castle Donnington Office supporting our Engineering team on a framework contract, carrying out repairs and maintenance of assets and infrastructure around the UK's Canals and Rivers.

Joining the company as an Administrator in the specialist Mechanical & Electrical team delivering a variety of maintenance works, your day to day responsibilities will be varied but may involve:

  • Meet and greet visitors to the AmcoGiffen office
  • Maintain electronic diary system (Outlook)
  • Assist with the receiving and processing of orders.
  • Support the Regional Engineers & Project Team with their general administration
  • Assist with the placing and tracking of Purchase Orders
  • Control technical documents which are received from our workforce and client
  • Assist our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality team with the compilation of statistics and issuing of safety documents
  • Maintain essential filing systems both physical and electronic.
  • Assist with the Facilities Management files and documentation.
  • Arrange for maintenance of Vehicles and file related documentation
  • Assist with commercial and tendering functions.
  • The preparation and compilation of reports for the Framework Manager and Senior Contacts Manager
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Rota's
  • Collect and process essential timesheet information.
  • Making arrangements for meetings with our Clients and Suppliers

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a busy / fast paced administrative role with experience of the above duties and responsibilities
  • Computer literate able to use Microsoft packages including word and excel spreadsheets
  • Experience carrying out the above roles/responsibilities working in the construction industry would be advantageous but by no means essential.
