We have an exciting new opportunity for two Apprentice Quality Assistants to join our Quality Department.


The role is to support all the administration of the Quality of Education Review process and data collection linked to this at Bradford College.


They will work as a member of the Quality team to provide an effective administrative service, underpinning the College's Quality processes and the achievement of the department's KPIs, in line with the College's Strategic Plan.


Responsibilities include:

  • To undertake administrative duties relating to the quality assurance and improvement of education across the College, including but not limited to administering the Quality of Education Review process, communicating key Quality messages to staff, monitoring timely completion of records, preparing reports about departmental activity, monitoring progress against departmental and College targets and quality improvement plans, maintaining and updating the quality calendar, managing the FE Quality inbox and data reporting.
  • To provide assistance to managers and academic staff by providing information to resolve queries and facilitating other relevant requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • To provide basic support to staff and managers in the use of College systems and processes relating to Quality.
  • To support the department's strategic aim for the development of an efficient and effective service by contributing ideas for the enhancement of quality processes.
  • Raise purchase or procurement orders
  • To play an active role in the administration of a range of quality processes, including the use of ProAchieve, EBS and office 36
  • To develop an understanding of core quality processes and performance indicators, supporting the Learning and Quality Managers (LQMs) in the provision of timely and accurate evidence which allows the department to assess progress towards the achievement of the Quality Improvement Plan and Key Indicators.
  • To liaise with colleagues across departments to facilitate the transmission of information and the receipt of data and documents by required deadlines
  • Collation of student feedback.
  • To be responsible for the collation of documents connected with quality assurance processes and procedures and checking them for accuracy and level of detail.

Education & Training

  • GCSE 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

  • Business L2 or Computing L2 qualification is desirable but not essential
