A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant seeking employment in the South Sheffield area from after the February Half-Term The role is to provide general classroom support on a full-time basis, with added responsibilityof delivering interventions with small groups of children & booster sessions to help raise their age-related expectations particularly in Reading and Writing.

Teaqching Personnel currently have 5 live roles for Level 3 Teaching Assistants than span across the South Sheffield region

Start date - February

Daily Pay Rate - £75 - £85 per day

**Responsibilities will include: - Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children across the curriculum

  • Engaging, motivating and encouraging learners
  • Supporting children's social and emotional development
  • Assisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviour
  • Effectively feeding back
  • Record keeping and administrative tasks, such a preparing resources
  • Creating classroom displays
  • Attending meetings and contributing to the extracurricular opportunities provided by the school
**Requirements: - Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above

  • Recent, successful teaching assistant experience
  • Proactive, hardworking and committed to making a positive impact
