About the Role


The main focus of this support will be the of the provision of a professional and comprehensive administrative service and providing advice and support to colleagues in line with university arrangements for health & safety.

You will actively participate in initiatives taken forward by the team.

There will also be an element of data handling and analysis looking at trends in health and safety related performance You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across Facilities Management and with key stakeholders across the University, with the aim of helping to create a safe environment for our staff, students and visitors.


About You

As
Health & Safety Assistant you will:

  • Provide a professional and comprehensive administrative service, including taking and producing minutes and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Collate and format documents and reports to a professional high standard ensuring accuracy, attention to detail and consistency.
  • Be able to plan and prioritise effectively and flexibly to meet deadlines.
  • Be selfmotivated with a drive for personal learning and development and a keen interest in health and safety.
