THE ROLEnResponding to breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance activitiesnCarryout fault-finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC's, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.nMaintaining safety equipment, turntables, hydraulic machinery, cnc milling machines, sevro press heads, sensors, wash plants and assembly lines,nUndertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities.nProgramming, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of Motoman robots, rotary positioners and MIG spot welding equipment.nEnsure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.nSupport equipment commissioning and installation projects.nPrepare technical reports to analyse breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures.nProgramming, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of Motoman robots, rotary positioners and MIG spot welding equipment.

nDriving of continuous improvement activities liaising with external suppliers to reach project deadlines

THE PERSONnAbility to produce technical reportsnExperience of refurbishing pumps, motors and bearingsnKnowledgeable regarding PLC's Siemens/Omron for fault findingnExperience of multi-skilled maintenance in a high-volume production environmentnKnowledge of Welding and Fabrication techniquesnEducated to HNC level or equivalent within a Multi-skilled discipline
