Blind Assembler/ Sales Assistant

We are a small Blinds and Awnings company situated in Hove and are looking for the right person to join our small team.
The role is extremely varied and duties will include:~Manufacture of made to measure blinds to meet customer's individual requirements
~Serving customers who come to the shop, advising them of the products we offer and guiding them to a product that fully meets their needs and give estimates of pricing.
~To assist on larger fitting jobs and receive heavy deliveries from time to time which will include the lifting of awnings and rooflight blinds.
~General housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, etc, keeping a safe and tidy work area and shop floor.
- Have a strong use of own initiative.
- Be quality and safety conscious.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be multi skilled for flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be a strong team player and capable of working to targets.
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
If you have a positive attitude to your work, good attention to detail and are able to build great working relationships then, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
£11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hove, BN3 5QT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
