Full time opportunity needed in small business established 1985, involves heavy work so must be strong and keen to lift throughout the week.


Duties:

As a stone caster, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using hand tools and power tools
  • Mixing cement to desired consistency for stone casting
  • Ensuring that completed work meets required specifications and quality standards
  • Building and packing pallets of stone correctly for sending internationally
  • Loading a van for local deliveries and monthly garden fairs
  • Main role is casting garden stoneware with latex and fibreglass mould making opportunities

Skills:

  • Proficiency in working with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work with masonry materials
  • Experience in lifting and using basic hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in stone casting and placement / care of latex moulds
  • Knowledge of different types of stones and their properties


This role requires a individual with a passion for their work, a positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
