We are a UK charity that believes nobody should have to manage multiple sclerosis alone. We provide trusted information to help people with MS live the best life possible; train and educate MS health professionals to offer the best care; and fund MS nurses in the areas of greatest need. We are looking to appoint an Independent Member, with a finance specialism, of our Risk, Audit and Finance (RAFT) Committee.

The Independent Member (Finance) will provide a positive contribution to the RAFT Committee, by providing independent oversight and constructive challenge to the Trustees. The Independent Member (Finance) will bring an independent perspective to proceedings, in assisting with business strategy and ensuring that risks are managed effectively.

Time commitment: A minimum of five meetings per year, and preparation time

Location: Flexible, most meetings are held virtually by Microsoft Teams.

Remuneration: Unremunerated, but reasonable expenses are eligible for reimbursement (by receipt).
