WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

STOKE ON TRENT AREA

PERMANENT

FULL TIME 9.30AM - 6.30PM MON-FRI

£24K DOE PLUS BONUS

THE ROLE
Working in a busy environment, the main duties of these roles are as follows:

  • Picking, packing, despatch and storing of all materials and equipment as required
  • Stock count and rotation of all items accurately and safely as required
  • Identify obvious faults or damage to product and equipment through visual inspection and reporting findings timely and accurately
  • Keeping database updated with accurate, timely information
  • Driving and FLT duties as required by the business (licence permitting)
  • Regular participation in cyclical stock taking and inventory counting

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience of working within a computerised stock warehouse environment
  • Positive, proactive and friendly approach with good communication and IT skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently, to meet deadlines in a fastpaced, changing environment
  • Motivated to deliver exceptional service levels and continuously learn & improve
  • A current FLT Counterbalance or PPT licence would be advantageous but not essential
