Role of the Fire Consultant
As a Fire Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments, evaluating existing FRAs and fire strategies, and offering expert guidance on British Standards. Your duties will involve overseeing quality and technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to current fire safety laws and strategies.
You will communicate directly with clients, providing thorough and proficient fire safety recommendations. This encompasses formulating fire safety plans and management strategies, and guaranteeing all operations uphold the highest criteria.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments
- Revise and enhance Fire Risk Assessments and strategies
- Conduct Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys
- Utilize Bluebeam software for assessments and records
- Create fire safety strategies and pinpoint resolutions to fire safety concerns
- Compile essential documents, guidelines, and protocols
- Stay informed on current fire safety regulations
- Interact with clients to deliver expert guidance and remedies
