Job Title: Teaching Support Assistant at Newcastle University

The Role

You will primarily focus on delivering high-quality teaching and support within a well-established program. Your responsibilities will be clearly outlined by a senior academic colleague. This part-time role entails 6.29 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months.

Key Accountabilities
- Deliver top-notch teaching and learning experiences to students
- Assist colleagues engaged in teaching activities
- Conduct teaching within a defined program, with guidance and support
- Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and mark assignments
- Contribute to exam question development and attend relevant meetings
- Reflect on teaching practices and continue professional development
- Stay updated on knowledge and skills to enhance teaching abilities
