We have a new vacancy for an Readymix HGV Relief MIxer Driver to join our expanding logistics team for our North West region in Cumbria.


As a Qualified professional HGV driver for Aggregate industries you will be responsible for the day to day running of a Modern company run Concrete Mixer truck, The truck will be mainly based at our depot but you will be required to transfer to other depots within the region when the company requires you to.

The person will be responsible for covering all Company drivers holiday within the regions.

He/she will also be responsible for Auditing all company based trucks within the regions ,The company my also ask you get involved with other duties around the Plants ,this may include driving on site Loading Shovel.

What will you bring?

  • Can work alone or part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working.
  • Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures an advantage.
  • Knowledge of concrete desired but not essential.
  • Customer Focused.
  • Good Communication skills required.
  • A valid HGV licence and driver CPC card is required.
  • Good knowledge of working time directive and drivers hours.
  • Previous concrete mixer experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
