Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team.
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for enabling members to maximise their abilities and potential, and to retain their independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with a variety of social/recreational activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Monitor and report any changes in members health
- Assist with members physical needs, including toiletting
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Help residents with mobility issues and provide assistance with physical therapy exercises
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a care setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and their families
- Ability to drive our minibus is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of implementing care plans
- A compassionate attitude towards caring for others
