A position has become available for a motivated and conscientious individual to work in our warehouse and fulfilment operation in South Kirkby.


The Company
We are a successful, privately owned family company. We design, manufacture and install our own bespoke equipment for the retail sector. Our customer portfolio is extensive and include household name retail outlets, across the UK and Eire. This includes our extensive range of shelving solutions.

The Role


Work across the warehouse at South Kirkby to maintain stock integrity by receipting container loads in goods-in, accurately slotting items in the correct locations, picking and packing orders, working positively with transport companies and hauliers.

The work is physically demanding at times.

  • Use handheld devices and the SAP warehouse system to execute work.
  • Follow best practice and standard operating procedures.
  • Order pick components from pick sheets and the SAP system.
  • Assist with the despatch of goods to an extremely high standard and accuracy.
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are observed.
  • Participate in stock take/control activities.

Experience/Skills

  • Working in a warehouse environment: 2 years (required)
  • FLT Counterbalance and Reach stacker trained (Preferably 2 years' experience due to the nature of the stock)
  • Used handheld scanners
  • IT proficient, including WMS and SAP ideally
  • Goodsin
  • Unloading containers using MHE equipment (Palletised stock)
  • Picking various shelving items using handheld scanners checking all stock meets the desired requirements (i.e. colour variations/damages) and recording all picks onto the WMS (SAP)
  • Goods in checking all stock against PO'S raised, liaising with the purchasing department for any stock shortages
  • Despatching goods via the WMS ensuring all paperwork is correct and signed for on departure.
  • Consolidation of stock where necessary (bulk stacking/loose stacking)
  • Stock moves where necessary ensuring all stock transactions are recorded on the WMS.
  • Confident and able to operate saw machinery (hacksaw)
  • Eye for detail
  • Able to prioritise tasks
  • Full UK Driving licence required may need to transfer small quantities of stock to and from another site

Basic hours are 8am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 3.15pm Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.

You may be required to work overtime as required to carry out your duties as necessitated by the needs of the business.
