Working across the group, we are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. The role is full time, 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We operate a hybrid working pattern across the business of 2 days per week office based and 3 days working from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and training programs for employees at various levels within the team.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers and employees.
  • Create engaging and effective learning materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as workshops, simulations, and online platforms.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning and development.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of participants during and after training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to align training initiatives with business goals.
  • Foster a value centric and positive learning environment and encourage a culture of continuous learning within the business.
  • Build content and messaging around business transformation initiatives.
  • Assist with PPT creation for broader leadership initiatives (staff communications, board/investor presentations etc)

Experience:

  • Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing strategic learning and development plans aligned with business goals.
  • Needs Analysis: Proficiency in conducting thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Curriculum Development: Track record of designing and implementing effective training programs for diverse employee levels and functions.
  • Technology Integration: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and ability to integrate technology for effective training delivery.
  • Dynamic Software Team: bonus points if you have relevant experience supporting technical and non-technical teams within a dynamic fast paced software organisation.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey training concepts clearly and engage diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in developing and delivering training initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis and metrics.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive and manage change through effective training strategies that support business transformation.
