Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher of Science

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Science to join our dynamic team starting in September 2024. This role has become available due to the retirement of a long-standing colleague. We welcome applications from well-qualified teachers with a record of delivering high-quality lessons and excellent student outcomes, as well as recently qualified teachers.

Our school is a popular and successful institution with a commitment to excellence for each and every student. In September 2015, we moved into an award-winning new building where subjects are taught in specialist rooms. Our supportive team sets high expectations for students, with superbly well-planned and tailored lesson resources available.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science to various age ranges, including the possibility of Sixth Form teaching, personalised to the strengths of the individual teacher.

Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.

Work collaboratively with the Science team to drive improvement and student success.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be an excellent Science teacher who is passionate about the subject.

Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons with excellent student outcomes, or be a recently qualified teacher.

Be a committed team player.

Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships.

Be committed to our school's ethos and values.

Be passionate and ambitious about their own career development.
